About this Item: Comfortable wooden clogs made of natural materials. We understand that sizing can be tricky sometimes, which is why we have created our own size guide to help you find your perfect Sandgrens size. You can find the instructions in the Product Description section.
If you're looking for more information about our materials and how to care for them, please scroll down to the Product Description, where you'll find all the details you need.
All our clogs are handcrafted by our skilled artisans in our factory in Sweden. The leather used in this color is VEGETABLE TANNED, which means that natural materials such as tree bark and plant extracts were used during the tanning process, making it the purest form of tanned leather.
Why Sandgrens? The art of clog making has been passed down through generations in our family, and we take great pride in this. We believe that craftsmanship is something worth preserving, which is why each of our clogs is still handcrafted at our factory in the deep forests of Småland, Sweden, using the finest leathers and the highest quality wooden bases available.
As a result, Sandgrens clogs are ones you'll love for years to come. We believe in natural materials and a timeless design that never goes out of style. Sandgrens is one of the few original clog manufacturers still made in Sweden, and we're grateful to our customers for making that possible.
Your clogs will be completely unique, as no two pairs leaving our factory are identical – a testament to the handcraftsmanship of our clog masters.
Break-in and Care Instructions: - Wear your new clogs indoors for short periods of time initially, gradually increasing the wear time over a few days to get them properly broken in. - If you experience any pain in the first steps, we recommend wearing socks with your clogs until they start to soften. - Avoid using water or heat sources to speed up the break-in process, as this can damage the leather.
Caring for Your Clogs: - Vegetable Tanned Leather: This is the purest form of tanned leather, and it may initially feel more rigid, but it will break in over time. Scars and marks are not defects but rather a result of the leather being a living material. - Nude Vegetable Tanned Leather: This type of leather will naturally darken over time with exposure to sunlight, which is a sign of quality. - Nubuck Leather: This is sensitive to water, so your clogs should not be worn in heavy rain. Avoid using shoe polish, and instead, use a horsehair brush to maintain the leather. - Wood Base: Avoid wearing your clogs in heavy rain, as the wood may swell. Wood is a fragile material, so be careful not to chip or crack the base. You can use sandpaper to even out any marks or dirt on the wood.
